working at 37signals

A great article from one of the newest members at 37signals, Jason Zimdars describes how much he’s enjoyed his new job and the changes that he had to make.

So it has been great to join a company that knows how to work with a widely distributed team. As you might assume, communication is the key to making the team effective and productive.

Why does 37signals do such good work? One main reason is clear in this article: they eat their own dogfood. The tools they build are the tools they use. How better to understand what your customers want/need then to use the tools you offer them to run your own business?
