That advertising on the iPhone needs to improve. Exhibit #1:

I finally got around to downloading and trying Words with Friends last week. As a big fan of Scrabble, this game is a no brainer. And the fact that you can have multiple games running at once with multiple friends and everyone can play at their convenience is just genius.
But badgering the user after every turn in the free version seems to be a poor way to convert to a sale. And the quality and relevancy of the ads are unacceptable. I guess the approach of nauseating the user to force their hand is one approach a developer can take, but there must be some lost sales when treating the user this way.
