An entry in the 10K Apart contest, ColorBlendy is a nicely implemented tool. Bookmarked.

“Thoughtfulness is free and burns on time and empathy.”
Nathan Smith tweeted about a small tool he built using the Dribbble API. It allows you to see who drafted a ‘player’ into Dribbble.
I took a quick look and entered in my name, which showed that I was drafted by Noah Stokes. And with Nathan’s setup, there is an arrow beside the drafter’s name with which you can see who drafted them. A couple of clicks later, I arrived at the Godfather!

Cool. And how did I get there? In four easy steps: chrisbowler > motherfuton > beep > simplebits. Unrelated: I obviously need a cooler handle …
4 degrees of separation. Let’s play a game: how many degrees are you from Dan?
A nice set of icons built in CSS rather than as images.

Thanks to Christian Ross, I believe I have found the print for my office that I’ve been looking for. Titled The Perfect Pour.

Jorge pushed out a new design of his personal site over the weekend. I love it — a great combination of color, texture, and photos.
Jon has redesigned his site, this time from scratch. It’s completely fluid and very impressive.

I’m going to have to finally dig that ALA article out of Instapaper …

Josh Holloway collects (and creates) iPad-specific versions of popular and nice wallpapers. Makes for a great companion site to Prettify.
I’ll second that. Josh’s site, along with Jorge’s iPad Decór are my favorite resources for iPad wallpapers.
I finally got around to finishing off a new design for this site, complete with a couple of pages. If you’re usually reading this site from your feed reader or the Dashboard, give it a look in your browser.

I’m still kicking the tires and tweaking a few of the post styles. If you have any suggestions or critiques, my apprentice level skills would appreciate hearing them.
I could purchase a print of the photo itself and hang it on my wall. That’s art people.
